Scouting was a fun time for a young girl in the 1960's. I was in the brownies and then the girl scouts. Every week we would have a meeting at the leaders home and work on badges.

If you have any photo editing software, you can make that photo look better than it was when new! You can even scan it at a larger size, crop it, and make a new print on a Kodak kiosk.

Yes, a little Photoshop work in a few seconds and that photo would come back to life.
ReplyDeleteWish I had a photo of myself wearing the old uniform. I never actually owned one. Mine was on loan from the neighbor.
The photo may be faded but I'm sure your memories aren't.

ReplyDeleteYour photo is precious! I thought the very same thing that Postcardy did ... I use Picasa 3 (it is free) and easy, and it works great for photo editing. Then I save them right to "my pictures" on my hard drive.

Yes, a little editing with contrast and brightness and that photograph can be brought back to life. Ah, if only it was so easy to turn the clocks back in reality.
